COURSE INFORMATION

 

SONA A GUITARRA is the name that was created to describe all musical activities carried out within the framework of THE INTERNATIONAL COURSE OF GUITAR ORCHESTRA and the INTERNATIONAL GUITAR COMPETITION FOR A YOUNG GUITARISTS.

This course is aimed at students from age 9 of the Music Schools and Higher School of Music everywhere. It will work repertoire from the sixteenth to the twentieth century. This material is appropriate for the level of students and they have the opportunity to conduct the orchestra in live concerts. There is no age limit.

DATES:

From Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 June 2014.

COURSE LOCATION:

INTERNATIONAL COURSE of GUITAR ORCHESTRA and ART OF CONDUCTING THE ORCHESTRA will be held at the Municipal School of Music of Puigreig (Barcelona) every day except Saturday afternoon 28th to be held at the Municipal School of Music of Navas (Barcelona).

David Murgadas. Professor and artistic director.

Cecili Ruedas. Assistant professor.

CONCERTS:

Municipal School of Music Puigreig: Thursday 26  and Sunday 29

Municipal School of Music Navas: Saturday 28.

EQUIPMENT:

Students must bring: guitar, stand, foot guitar, pencil, eraser and electronic tuner. The sheet material is covered and will be delivered on the first day of the course.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Students will be attended by professors David Murgadas and Cecili Ruedas during the time of the International Course of Guitar Orchestra. Outside of these hours will be parents or guardians of minor students who are responsible for them. The activities begin on time.

      DAVID MURGADAS, baroque guitar and CECILI RUEDAS, Spanish guitar.

FRIDAY 27

– From 10 am to 2 pm.

      INTERNATIONAL COURSE of GUITAR ORCHESTRA and ART OF CONDUCTING THE ORCHESTRA

– From 5 pm to 6:30 pm.

     3rd INTERNATIONAL GUITAR COMPETITION FOR YOUNG GUITARISTS.

         Phase Competition Category A ( under 11 years)

– From 6:30 to 8 pm .

     3rd INTERNATIONAL GUITAR COMPETITION FOR YOUNG GUITARISTS.

 

         Phase Competition Category B ( under 14)

 

SATURDAY 28

– From 10 am to 2 pm.

SUNDAY 29

     INTERNATIONAL COURSE of GUITAR ORCHESTRA and ART OF CONDUCTING THE ORCHESTRA

     INTERNATIONAL COURSE OF GUITAR ORCHESTRA.  Preparation of final concert of  the SONA A GUITARRA. PUIGREIG 2014.

– At 7:30 pm.

    FINAL CONCERT of the  SONA A GUITARRA. PUIGREIG 2014. Winners of the 3rd INTERNATIONAL GUITAR COMPETITION FOR  YOUNG GUITARISTS. Cast awards and diplomas.
